At 28 grams, the PawPulse module is about 0.6 percent of a 10 lb dog's body weight and about 0.2 percent of a 30 lb dog's. The strap adds weight on top. The 3-5% band is a rule of thumb from wildlife-tracking research, not a veterinary standard. Scale runs 0 to 6 percent.

Pressure on the neck
