1.2 Information Collected Automatically

1.3 Information from PawPulse Devices
When you use PawPulse connected products, including Lucero and Ember collars, Solstice docks, and Flare cameras:
- Pet Health and Activity Data: Heart rate, respiratory rate, activity, rest, gait, movement, behavior signals, and derived wellness insights
- Sensor Data: Motion and orientation data, environmental readings, e-nose readings, calibration state, signal quality, and diagnostic samples needed to operate and improve the system
- Device Data: Battery status, charging and dock status, firmware version, hardware model, serial number, connectivity status, error codes, update status, and upload health
- Location Data: GPS coordinates, cellular tower data, Bluetooth proximity data, and related location signals when location-enabled features are active
- Media: Photos, videos, thumbnails, generated clips, metadata, and sharing state from Flare cameras or app media features when you capture, upload, or share them
1.4 Field-Test and Diagnostic Data
During prototype, beta, or family field testing, we may collect additional operational data to confirm that collars, docks, cameras, apps, firmware updates, cloud services, and notifications work correctly.
- Readiness and Quality Data: Setup progress, pairing state, Bluetooth relay health, mesh connectivity, upload lag, dropped uploads, sensor coverage, calibration outcomes, and battery performance
- Issue Reports: User-selected issue categories, notes, timestamps, app logs, crash diagnostics, and affected device identifiers
- Exports: Limited study, support, and operations exports used for troubleshooting, safety review, and product improvement
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process Orders: Fulfill pre-orders, process payments, ship products
- Provide Services: Enable pet health monitoring, baseline creation, adaptive wellness ranges, location tracking, video capture, social sharing, notifications, and data visualization

3.1 Service Providers
- Data Storage: Supabase and cloud storage providers for database, file, image, video, and diagnostic storage
- Email Services: Resend for transactional emails and notifications
- App Distribution and Diagnostics: Apple TestFlight, Firebase, and related app platform services for beta distribution, crash reporting, and app diagnostics
- Analytics: Google Analytics and Hotjar for website analytics
- Payment Processing: Stripe (when implemented) for secure payment processing
- Shipping Partners: FedEx, UPS, USPS for order fulfillment
3.2 Veterinarians (With Your Consent)
If you choose to share your pet's health data with your veterinarian through our Vet Dashboard, we will provide them access to the specific data you authorize.
3.3 Friends and Family (When You Share)
If you use PawPulse social features, the people you connect with may see profile information, pet profiles, posts, comments, reactions, and media that you choose to share with them.
3.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request.
3.5 Business Transfers
If PawPulse is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction (you will be notified).

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 3 years after closure
- Pet Health and Device Data: Retained for the lifetime of your device usage plus 3 years
- Field-Test Diagnostics: Retained as needed for safety, support, warranty, research, and product improvement unless you request deletion and no legal or operational exception applies
- Social Media: Retained while posted or while your account is active, subject to deletion controls and backup retention windows
- Marketing Data: Retained until you unsubscribe
- Transaction Records: Retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance
