What we collect
- Account basics: Your name, email, and shipping address when you sign up or reserve
- Pet profile: Your pet's name, breed, age, weight, and any health details you choose to share
- Collar data: Heart rate patterns, respiratory trends, activity levels, sleep, and location from the PawPulse collar
- Website activity: Pages visited, browser type, and general usage patterns through Google Analytics, plus anonymized heatmaps and session recordings of how pages are used through Microsoft Clarity (text you type into forms is masked)
- Waitlist and email: Your email when you join the Waglist or subscribe to updates
What we do not collect
- We do not listen to audio or record conversations
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties
- We do not share your pet's health data without your explicit permission
How we use your data
- Product experience: Showing you your pet's wellness patterns, trends, and location in the app
- Improvements: Understanding how our products perform so we can make them better
- Communication: Sending you updates, launch news, and support responses you asked for
- Vet sharing: Only when you explicitly approve sharing specific data with your veterinarian
Who can see your data
- You: Full access to all your data through the PawPulse app
- Your vet: Only the data you choose to share, only when you approve it
- PawPulse team: For support, troubleshooting, and product improvement
- Service providers: Infrastructure partners (hosting, email delivery, analytics) who process data on our behalf under strict agreements
- Other players in the Viking Dog Park: While live mode is on, only your dog's name, breed, tier and position in the park are shared with other players. Never your name, email or real-world location. There is no chat, only fixed barks and emotes.
- Viking Dog Park clips: Video clips you record in the park are made and kept on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
How we protect your data
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Access controls limit who on the team can view personal data
- Regular security reviews of our systems and partners
- No data sold, rented, or traded
