California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Compliance

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. This page explains those rights and how PawPulse complies with the CCPA and its amendment, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Scope and applicability

This disclosure applies to California residents as defined under the CCPA. It supplements the information contained in our general Privacy Policy and applies to personal information we collect through our website (pawpulse.ai), our interactive dog park, and any related services.

Categories of personal information we collect

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

• Identifiers: Name, email address, IP address.

• Commercial Information: Products or services purchased, obtained, or considered (e.g., waitlist signups, pre-orders).

• Internet or Network Activity: Browsing history on our site, interaction with our dog park, page views, and analytics data.

• Geolocation Data: Approximate location derived from IP address (we do not collect precise geolocation from your browser).

Your rights under the CCPA

• Right to Know: You can request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

• Right to Delete: You can request that we delete your personal information. We will comply unless the information is necessary to complete a transaction, provide a service you requested, comply with a legal obligation, or for other permitted purposes under the CCPA.

• Right to Opt-Out of Sale: You have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. However, PawPulse does NOT sell your personal information to third parties, so there is nothing to opt out of.

• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. You will not receive different pricing, a different quality of service, or be denied service for making a request.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

PawPulse does NOT sell your personal information. We have never sold personal information and have no plans to do so. We do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Because we do not engage in the sale or sharing of personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, there is no need to opt out. However, if you have any concerns, please contact us at privacy@pawpulse.ai and we will address them promptly.

How to submit a request

You may exercise your CCPA rights through any of the following methods:

• Email us at privacy@pawpulse.ai with the subject line "CCPA Request" and a description of your request.
• If PawPulse provides you with a signed verification token, you may use our self-service export endpoint at /api/user/export with your email and token to receive a copy of the data we hold about you.
• If PawPulse provides you with a signed verification token, you may use our self-service deletion endpoint at /api/user/delete with your email, token, and confirmDelete=true to permanently remove your data.

We will verify your identity before processing any request. Self-service API requests require a signed verification token tied to your email address, and email requests are handled through our privacy inbox with additional verification as needed. We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days of receipt.
